About Us
Brian McIntee, Founder
Brian has over 25 years of experience in financial management including as a Chief Financial Officer in the wireless telecommunications industry. Additionally, he has 10 years of sales and operations executive experience with Sprint where he built a profitable $2.5B business from launch. This unique blend of experience allows for a deeper level of engagement than the typical CFO. Brian earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
Our History
Free State Consulting Group was formed in 2009 to assist businesses achieve financial success. After the worst of the financial crisis, many businesses, especially small business, needed to refocus their business plans, reduce costs, raise capital, restructure debt and improve cash flows. We were able to assist without the client having to commit to a full-time CFO.
